It's an Alligator

Hello everyone!! I can't even believe how fast this week has gone. It was so awesome and a little stressful too! We had exchanges this week and so I took over the area while Hermana Bowers was gone. I was really nervous because the Sister I was with was English speaking and I kept thinking oh no, oh no, someone is going to say something or ask me something and I will have no clue. But it ended up being awesome! We saw so many little miracles throughout the day. I just prayed all day that we would be able to find someone that we could help and that needed us. We met this guy Fredrico, we'd knocked his house before but his wife answered and was sick so she asked us to come back another time. Fredrico answered this time and he was the sweetest old man and has been less active since they moved here 2 years ago!!!! We heard his story and why he is less active and everything that has been going on and I just felt so strongly that we needed to be there and that we could help lift his spirits. We got to teach our last lesson with Jose and visit one of the Hermanas in the group who has been struggling. It really felt like all day we were being guided to the places that we need to be. I also think the exchange was good for me because it gave me more confidence in what I can do and possible taking over the area next week.

We had zone conference this week and it was seriously awesome! South Carolina is a pilot mission and trying all these new things. The way that we plan to do missionary work changed a lot hahaha... So hopefully we can just keep doing what we need to and we will be able to find the people that are ready.

Jose one of the recent converts that we work with a lot left back to Mexico this week so we had dinner with him and said goodbye ahhh so sad. My first couple weeks in the field were really hard and he helped me a lot just to feel welcome and I am so grateful for him.

Today we went back to Magnolia Plantation and just got to walk around again. So so pretty. Wow South Carolina is beautiful!

Story time!!! Remember that cute video of us singing to the old people? Well this week while on exchanges I was talking to cute Shirley and then Yvonne comes over and they start yelling at each other. I kept trying to calm them down and told them just to love each other but it didn't work. Needless to say I got in the middle of a cat fight between two old ladies. Southern hospitality does not always exist.

This week I was a little hard on myself. Sometimes it feels like we are working so so hard and not really having success. I wondered what it was that I was doing or not doing or what we could change to make this area stronger?! But I just prayed that I would have more faith and that things would work out. I really felt like the Savior reached out to me especially to help me feel good about this week!
Happy start to CHRISTMAS!!!
