Plot
twist, don't worry just getting whiplash
Holaaaaaaaaaaa,
*Monday afternoon before transfers,
Presidente Innes calls*
"Hola Presidente what's
up?"
"Who's news do you want first?
We'll go with Hermana Morgan, You're staying and training!!"
"wahoo!" "Yay"
"That's awesome!" "Wait... Presidente... What? Where am I
going?"
"Hermana Crofts, you are going
to West Columbia with Hermana Bechtold to be our very first Spanish Sister
Trainer Leaders."
*Silence*
"Wait.. What?"
Well folks there it is! I am getting TRANSFERRED! AGAIN!!! I am excited,
but also kinda sad. It took me a long time to adjust to the area and I really
just started loving it! Presidente Innes had made it sound like I was going to
finish my mission here, so I honestly just finished unpacking about 2 weeks
ago, I also spoke in church on Sunday and joked that if everyone would come
together and pray that maybe God would let me finish my mission here. The branch presidente
asked all the missionaries in the branch to speak on Sunday. The rama has a
little problem of all arriving 20 minutes late to church and so he asked me to
speak on punctuality and all the other missionaries to speak on missionary
work. He literally wanted me to go up and roast the entire branch for being
late all the time so that he didn't have to!!!!!!!!!! Don't fret y'all, I
played it cool and subtly roasted and called them to repentance like Jesus
would, with love. ;)
Anyway, this has been a really funny week. I am like broken hahah. We
had soccer night on Saturday and again my competitive genes got the best of me.
I was trying to steal the ball from Israel. He's a pretty big guy but I thought
I could take him. Well, I was wrong. Instead my knee crashed into his knee and
I heard something like a "pop." Of course, worst case scenario comes
to mind, "I'm never going to walk again, they're gonna send me home, the
other team is going to win!!!" Don't worry y'all I limped off the field
and have been limping around the last couple days with a giant knee but it's
gotten lots better. I also woke up with a really bad cold. I lost my voice and
currently sound like Yoda. Don't worry dad, I will be more careful. ;)
On a more serious note, this week has been awesome! After going to the temple,
I have felt like a huge load was taken off my shoulders. The temple really is a
refuge and the house of the Lord. We have been able to keep that spirit with us
all week and it's been so cool to see all the miracles. I think the last couple
weeks have been so hard because Satan knew we were going to the temple and
wanted to try and discourage me. God always comes out on top y'all.
We got an exciting call from Carlos!! We went to a lesson with him with
Hermana Modesto and he told us that he had been praying and his baptism in
February is just too far! He doesn't want to wait that long. He would get
baptized this Saturday if it was possible! The transportation issue really is
hard though. They don't have Taxi's or buses out there, and we don't have any
members that live within 30 miles of him!! Pero, MILAGRO. The Blythwood sisters
called us and told us about a family from El Salvador en su barrio, they are a
part member family and live just around the corner from Carlos. We got to visit
them and we really hope they will come to the Rama. They were soooo sweet!
We taught Cesar the Ley de Castidad
y Palabra de Sabiduria this week. We were a little nervous because he needs to
start living those ASAP. We taught and the Spirit was so strong in the lesson.
He asked us about Coffee and we both kinda flinched like "oh no, this is
it!" But he's already been living both of those commandments because they
just make him feel better anyway! :))))
This is God's work and he just lets us be apart of it! I love that I get
to see his hand in it all. God is so good all the time.
LES QUIERO MUCHO
