Phlebotomist Ed Sheeran and Puppies.

HOLA!!!
By some MIRACLE Hermana Jensen and I are staying together in Boiling Springs! We are so so excited. :) They did put a Zebra companionship over Greenville 2nd. So now we can just focus on Boiling Springs. Hermana Jensen goes home at the end of this transfer which means I am killing her!! Which means all of the dying and trunky jokes have started full swing. She is still in denial and I just think it's funny.
Waiting to find out about transfers just made us so anxious all week and so the week felt like an eternity. It was a good eternity, but wow, it was long.
We told Robert that we were both staying and he was so relieved. We joked with him that his prayers must have been working because we thought for sure one of us was going to get transferred. He told us that he'd been praying for it all week. Robert's prayers kept us in Spartanburg. Unfortunately, they didn't keep the rest of our district. RIP. (We really miss Elder Ewell, Elder Hill, and Sister Larsen...)
Robert is doing GREAT!! You can see an actual difference in him. He has always been a very, very anxious and stressed person but this week he was so calm and happy!! He told us that he had one of the best weeks at work and when people bothered him he would just shake it off. It was fun for us to see his personality come out which was always hidden behind his worries. He also told us that he had the hymn we sang at his baptism stuck in his head, which was the cutest! I've had the Holy Ghost for so long that sometimes we don't realize the actual difference it makes in our daily lives, our work, our relationships and everything we do. Having the Holy Ghost is the coolest. Robert's Mom, Gina has been inactive for a long time and this last week pulled out her Book of Mormon and read a chapter that the missionaries from over a year ago had left her to read. She loved it and has been doing so much better since Robert got baptized. Robert is just sharing the love with everyone.
One of the members in the ward has cancer and they did a big blood drive at the church. We both gave blood. I've never had a problem with it before but my veins were being stubborn and kept rolling off the needle which made my little beeper go off, which made me nervous, which meant they kept having to readjust the needle, which made me really uncomfortable, and when I get uncomfortable I just get awkward and spout random nonsense. Phlebotomist Ed Sheeran (the guy that helped me) and I are now very good friends and I think he was very happy when I finished.
We had a couple of really awesome lessons this week and lots of time to find. We were driving to a couple places and while driving we looked in the other cars and we saw SO MANY Hispanics!! We just kept looking at each other like ahhh where are they going? Should we follow them? Are we dodging them? Don't worry we'll get em.
On Sunday, the ward tried something a little bit different. They always have translation for the Spanish group, but they always just kinda miss out on being able to participate. So, the Bishop asked Hermano Ramirez to speak in Spanish, no translation, just speak. As he started, he just expressed that he can't remember the last time he'd been given an assignment like this, but that he was so excited. The Spirit was really strong as he spoke and you could tell that even the English members who couldn't understand were touched by it! They're going to try and start having a Spanish speaker every week.
A couple weeks ago we went to contact a member that we'd never met. While we were there, we met Miguel Angel and Crescencio. The next time we went back, we met Irma (a different member), we went back again and met a new guy and Jennifer. I was getting so confused and we could not figure out who lived in this trailer because every time we went back it was someone new!! We got to go back again and talk with Jennifer and Miguel and teach their cute kids. She had been thinking a lot recently about some of her family and friends in the church and wanted to know more when we came and knocked on her door.
We got our very first Bible/Book of Mormon referral a couple weeks ago and we were so excited!! We taught him for the first time and we asked what he wanted to learn. He told us he wanted to learn about the Plan of Salvation. He just has such a desire to know for himself and is so sweet. He is a single guy so we will just teach him outside on his porch. We love Emmanuel. He works for a cracker company and gave us enough crackers to last forever probably.
Well I hope y'all all have the very best week!! God is good and is always helping us out with whatever is going on in our lives. I hope y'all can take time to seek him out because he is always waiting to help us and lift us up.
