I USA
Hola hola amigoooos
It was an awesome week!! We found lots of new people and so that was really cool. Transfer news..... We are getting an HIJA!!!!!! We are so excited to train together and that we get to stay in Myrtle Beach.
Monday night, we had a lesson with Tim on the Boardwalk.. ahhh what a trip that was. We were walking and met steel Rodney. He then rapped us all the books in the Bible and a cool rap about getting back to Jesus. Honestly, I was impressed. I can't even do that. Respect steel Rodney. Then we met Santa. He had just come off the beach and was with his dog. We stopped and talked to him for a little bit. He's an ice cream man right now "but I pick up a few jobs in the winter..HO HO HO." I was on the verge of tears. He was such a jolly guy and brings ice cream, Christmas, and happiness all year round.
4th of July was way fun!!! We had a morning of appointments and got to visit the Selph fam and ate American flag cheesecake. We visited Gwenolyn and her grandson and taught them about the restoration. She has woohoo many questions and we love that! We didn't have much time for anything else because we had to drive up to Columbia. So we started the 3.5 hour drive up and it was all good! We slept at West Columbia Hermanas and we had a fun little 4th of July party. Its so fun to see Hermana Bowers. Sadly, she dies this week...
Thursday we had Spanish Conference! It was the best one we've had and we made so many awesome goals for our area and have really been able to just work together as a little Spanish zone to better ourselves. Presidente is so inspired and I am so grateful for him.
Monday we had a really chill day and then all the plans fell through for the night and we felt inspired to visit a couple of people. Dalia and Conception were home and we got to talk to them a lot about the gospel. They both really wanted to come to church so we found a ride for them and Conception was able to come! God totally helped us out... like a lot. This was the first time we'd had someone who we are teaching and who speaks Spanish come while we'd been here. Needless to say...... We did everything in our power to make it good... but it just took a weird turn. The talks in sacrament meeting were pretty good, Sunday school was about our eternal family (como somos hijas y hijos de Dios) and then it just took a wrong turn and one of the members pulled out all sorts of deep doctrine. We were both terrified but just testified of how simple the gospel is and how purely God loves us. It all worked out and he's still meeting with us!! Hallelujah. It was really a missionary’s worst nightmare.
Also, little miracle. On Saturday, we had a day just full of knocking. It was supposed to rain all day. We got out and just prayed that it would pass over us and we could have a productive day. We went to Sandys and it poured the whole time, came out and it looked like it was going to keep raining but it didn't rain the rest of the night. God answers prayers even the simple and silly ones.
I hope y'all have a blessed day!! We are going to a zone Pday and then maybe to get ice cream. I hit my 11 month mark yesterday and today I'm 20. I feel ancient in the mission and in life. This last year has been my very favorite. I left on my mission and have grown so so much. I really love the mission. It is the happiest I've ever been just because I am doing what God wants and I don't have to worry about the world. I know that happiness comes only through Christ. He really loves us a lot and he always guides us.
We spent the day doing the typical things we had to get done and then we went to a zone p-day and that was so fun!!! We played soccer, volleyball, and spikeball. I forgot how competitive I am. The missions really chilled me out a bit but when I play sports I just wanna win.
Sorry my emails are always weird I never know what to write!!

Hi Crofts Family,

I live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where your daughter is currently serving in her mission. My family and I had her and her companion over this evening and I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful missionary she is! She is working hard and her testimony of Christ radiates from her.

I also thought I’d share a picture of your daughter and her companion with my daughter that I took after dinner this evening. As the sisters left our house tonight my little girl (she just turned 4) told me, “Mom, this was the best night ever. Thank you so much for having the girl missionaries over- I want to be just like them when I am bigger!”

Thank you for raising such a righteous young woman who can be a good example to my future young woman also!

Love,

Sister Jackie Kennedy

Don't worry the tattoo washed off. Haven't gone rogue.

I turned 20 today!

We slept at the West columbia Hermanas apartment the night before Spanish Conference and had a 4th of July/Birthday Party. Woot, Woot!
