Christmas Milagros

Wow this week was loaded!! It was wonderful.

Update on the food. We are still getting fed like crazy. On Tuesday, we went to visit Faby and Ingrid and they LOVE to cook. They cook like this yummy gourmet food!! Like.. It's really really really good, BUT they give us so much of it that we can't even enjoy it. They loaded my plate and I just wanted to hold it up next to my body and say... "Literally Hermana... Where are you expecting me to put it?" and then I saw the plate they gave Hermana Bechtold and decided to stay silent, they'd given her even more.

We had an awesome Zone Conference for Christmas. It was really spiritual and just uplifting like it should be. We had a small training for the zone about giving a gift to our savior and getting rid of something that he doesn't like and just becoming better. It was really good! I also got to see all my amigos so that's fun too.

We went to the Pulga (Flea Market) again and met so many cool people, also a couple of interesting people. We wrapped presents for free and just tried to light the world by lighting their loads. We got lots of new potential people to teach from it.

Abigail 😊 She was really excited about “Light the World” and so we decided that we'd all together light the world by doing the 12 days of Christmas for the Segura family. They've kinda been having a hard time because their daughter is in Colombia right now to get surgery. We put together all the gifts and it is "On the first day of Christmas, my savior gave to me..." and it was so so cute. Our Savior really has given us so many precious gifts. We put it all together and watched the Christmas devotional. We finished right as President Nelsons talk started. The Spirit entered the room so powerfully and just stopped us all in our tracks. Her kids had kinda been all over the place beforehand but just silently played while he spoke. It was a huge witness to me of the power of the spirit and the mantel of a prophet. The church is true folks.

Last night, we went and visited our friends that came to church last week. They were so glad we came because they had so many questions. We answered them and taught them how to read the music in the hymn books. The spirit was really strong and they are just way humble!

On Thursday we were out knocking. That ukulele that I bought is finally coming in handy. We have been singing “Silent Night” as we deliver treats to members and just out knocking. We were in Holland street about to go knock, we were praying for God's help (much needed always) and felt prompted that we should actually go by Mary's house. Right when we got in the car to head over there Jose (who always comes to soccer night) and his Mom Patricia call and invite us over. For what? Literally to just visit and share a message. They are neighbors with Mary. 😊 It was a really cool experience for us!

I know that miracles are real and we are just praying for miracles. We know that the Lord will help us and he is softening so many hearts this Christmas.
